Is it REALLY March?
The clocks go forward this weekend and we should be rejoicing with daffs and blossom
abundant (oh . . and chocolate
eggs!) but instead our winter wardrobes are working over-time and there seems
no rest bite from the bitter winds. Will winter ever end?
So we wanted to warm your spirits with these images that positively burst
with spring cheer - made with gypsophila and twigs, these beautifully crafted letters were made by
the artist Keziah Chong. Stunning, we think, and the perfect antidote to lift us from the greyness outside. Spring will be with us soon . . . .
Keziah Chong . . . . "Baby’s Breath is a typeface formed with Gypsophila/Baby’s Breath. The meaning
of Gypsophila is to miss, to adore, and to give. Gypsophila often serves a
supporting role, but its existence is significant. This font should have a
feeling of freshness, graciousness, and tenderness. I made three different sets
of the typeface, the Autumn, the Winter, and the Baby’s Breath."
